about
Our first single off of our debut album, Time to Panic.
This song was originally written and put together by Nick and Zack within two hours on an acoustic guitar in a college dorm room five years ago. It's simple, punchy, and has remained one of our favorites over the years. We felt it was fitting to be our first single, but the cool part is that it has a sound that is a bit different than a lot of the songs on our forthcoming album. We wanted each song to have a different feel, so this is only a small sample of what's to come.
lyrics
Open your mind, don't go away
Your thoughts are here, I want them to stay
If you decide that you're movin' on
Just know one more thing before you are gone
Before your mind is gone completely
And your heart turns black as coal
I want my screams to pierce your ears
And my words to pierce your soul
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please don't fade away
Noo-oh-oh
Please, please just one more day
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please don't fade away
Noo-oh-oh-oh-oh
Please, just one more day
If I should die before I wake
These lines are written, and that you can't take
And when I've left, you won't get to see
All of this rage trapped inside of me
Before your mind is gone completely
And your heart turns black as coal
I want my screams to pierce your ears
And my words to pierce your soul
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please don't fade away
Noo-oh-oh
Please, please just one more day
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please don't fade away
Noo-oh-oh-oh-oh
Please, just one more day
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please don't fade away
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please just one more day
Ooh-oh-oh
Please, please don't fade away
Noo-oh-oh-oh-oh
Please, just one more day
Before your mind is gone completely
And your heart turns black as coal
I want my screams to pierce your ears
And my words to pierce your soul
